Is this the country we fought for? Struggle hero Albie Sachs will pose this thought-provoking question at the 13th Victoria and Griffiths Mxenge Memorial Lecture at UKZN on 16 April. The Lecture is hosted annually by the School of Law to honour the memory of slain attorneys Victoria and Griffiths Mxenge and the important roles they played in the struggle to liberate South Africans from the shackles of apartheid.

UKZN undergraduates Mr Siba ‘Faro’ Dlamini and Mr Oliver Kongolo are making their mark on Durban’s social scene - they have created ‘Poogle’, a website that collects information on events in the city from the Internet and social networks placing the news in one easily accessible hub, www.poogle.co.za
