UKZN’s College of Law and Management and Studies congratulates top-achieving graduates in the School of Accounting, Economics and Finance (SAEF) who were conferred with their degrees at the Autumn Graduation ceremonies.
The top three achievers in the Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Economics programme are Mr James Ireland who graduated summa cum laude, and Ms Davida Moodley and Ms Nokuphiwa Ngema who both achieved cum laude.
Mrs Waseefa Petker whose degree was awarded cum laude and Ms Amy Moodley with summa cum laude are the top achievers in the Bachelor of Business Science programme.
The College also congratulates 17 first-time graduates who obtained a cum laude pass and two summa cum laude achievers for Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting degrees. They are: Mr Ismaeel Bux; Ms Zahra Adam; Ms Shanelle Chinnasamy; Mr Noor-Muhammed Gani; Ms Riona Jannak; Ms Jetaria Moodley; Ms Raelene Moodley; Ms Kerri-Ann Naidoo; Ms Shavani Naidoo; Mr Yashin Naidoo; Ms Zethu Bridget Ntuli; Mr Luke Craig Pillay; Ms Nikita Tammy Pillay; Ms Sherisha Premchand; Ms Nevana Rampershadh; Ms Kiara Taylor Reddy; and Ms Sayuvna Singh with cum laude passes, while Mr Muhammad Usama Ghuman and Mr Akhil Harrydhasret obtained summa cum laude.
