Overview
The School of Law offers an LLM programme in Child Care and Protection Law. The programme aims to provide candidates with specialist expertise in the field of Child Law. Theoretical, practical and international law aspects are covered.
Programme Structure
The programme consists of eight 16-credit single-semester modules (128 credits in total) at NQF level 8. It is offered full-time over one year, or part-time over two years, as follows:

Duration
The programme can be completed over one year of full-time study, or two years if part time.
Entry Requirements
Applicants must be in possession of an LLB or a BProc degree with the basic entrance requirement being a minimum overall average of 55%, subject to the availability of places in the module as class sizes are limited.
